We are seeking a Supervisor of Project Cost Accounting at our Rudolph Libbe Inc. Walbridge location.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  â€¢  Lead a team of 3-4 project cost accounting associates and day-to-day operations of project cost accounting
  â€¢  Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures for project financial management
  â€¢  Conduct project cost reviews, assist project managers with profitability projections, cost and productivity analysis, and customer project audits
  â€¢  Raise awareness to potential project-related issues, propose solutions, and promote implementation
  â€¢  Coordinate with internal teams, including accounting, contracts, preconstruction and operations, to ensure seamless project financial oversight
  â€¢  Provide data driven conclusions to team members and management
  â€¢  Compile ad hoc reports as requested by internal and external customers
  â€¢  Understand how project contract terms relate to project cost
  â€¢  Manage daily and weekly quantity reporting
  â€¢  Oversight of equipment charges into cost system
  â€¢  Prepare monthly project-related financial analysis reports
  â€¢  Lead project cost accounting month end close process

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  â€¢  5+ years construction accounting and project cost experience
  â€¢  2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  â€¢  Unifier experience or similar project management/cost system(s)
  â€¢  General knowledge of sales and use tax laws
  â€¢  Minimum Bachelor’s degree
